BRANDS ARE BEINGS TOO.

A short while ago I came across a quote by famous primatologist and anthropologist, Jane Goodall, in which she stated that just like we are Human Beings, so too are cats Cat Beings, cows Cow Beings and monkeys Monkey Beings.

This statement rang true to such a degree that I could not help but wonderwhether it would also stand to reason that Brands could be classified as Brand Beings too? Living organisms that organically grow through life with all the challenges that life throws at them.

If this assumption of a brand being a Being is indeed true, then in order to understand the difference between a brand and a Being, we need to firstly understand what being a Being means.

Towards a new way of thinking

So let’s take a step back. Let’s start with the Human Being. We come from a system of IQ, reason and logic, having forgotten the magic of life. The Human Being is by far the most sophisticated and complex organism on our planet. Yet because of its complexity, it is probably one of the least capitalised life forms. In our race less than 1% of all Humans are ever really truly successful. Why do so few people ever touch the stars, or even dare to reach for them? Perhaps the greatest problem facing our modern world today is that we have become obsessed with our own humanness. Within our capitalistic, materialistic world, it has all become about the ‘I’. Life in essence revolves around what is in it for me. I work towards having my fancy house, driving my flashy car, wearing my smart clothes, climbing the corporate ladder towards my perfect job, so that I can have my perfect life. Me, myself, I. And through our obsession with this one dimension, we have lost sight of a second. We have forgotten that we are far, far more than just Human. We are Human Beings.

But what does this mean?

It means that by being only Human we are literally half of what we are meant to be. By living a life of humanness, even if we deliver at our level best every day, we will at most only yield an outcome of half of our true potential and that is atmost.

Compounded by the unconsciousness of our true nature, our inner Being, we also don’t have the natural inner drive and desire to deliver at our true full potential. And because of this, even when we assume we are doing our best, we are only delivering at half of our optimum capacity/ability. Functioning at our levelbest, within a life of humanness, comparison and limitation mean we will only ever experience one quarter of our true potential.

So what would happen if we became conscious of our inner Being and begin operating on a new level? A deeper force within. An untapped source of everything. Our true creative power.

Only when we become conscious of this aspect called the Being, the world really starts to open up to us. Especially when living in a realm of humanness, we are only aware of wealth as an aspect of life pertaining to money. Whilst in the realmof the Human Being, wealth takes on a far greater meaning. A meaning that was brought to my awareness whilst attending the Titan Summit in Toronto, Canada at that end of 2014.

It’s an orderly approach to life when you choose to be greater than just Human. When you choose to embrace your Being. Wealth, when looked at through the lense of Being, is unpacked to have eight meanings: spiritual wealth, health, family, craft, money, circle of genius, adventure and giving back to society. And if each of these areas is fully embraced, then your true life potential can and willincrease by eight fold.

Brand Beings

It is my opinion that Brands are Beings too. Just like humans, they are given human names by their original parents which means that within their human names and human conditioning, they at best can achieve financial wealth.
But what if they could achieve exponential wealth according to the eight pillars of Being wealth?
