Purpose Workshops for Businesses
Isn’t it time you invested in your brand’s future?
Having a purpose inspires everything in the business, from systems to processes and company culture or internal communication, PR and mass communication. It is the simplicity that is needed in the VUCA world (volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous) we exist in today and an imperative to business sustainability post COVID-19.
A truly healthy business should have much more than just bottom-line abundance. It should be rich in finding solutions, innovation, inspiration, excellence, harmony, job satisfaction, well-being of people, freedom to think and to dream, and trust – all the great stuff that positively affects the product of the business. And only then, in turn, will the business truly deliver an abundant inflow of the by-product we call money. There’s an essence within your business: take the time to discover it. You may just find that your organisation has a lot more to give.
Like corporate citizens, businesses cannot escape a fundamental truth – that we are all intrinsically linked in one way or another. Businesses, as beings in their broader communities and socioeconomic context, need a higher purpose to drive their strategies.
Globally there is also a move to assess how a business impacts the environment, including climate change and sustainability; social constructs such as diversity and human rights in the workplace, consumer protection and animal welfare; and governance, which refers to management structures, employee relations, and executive and employee compensation. This all constitutes a meaning and purpose.
Pepe Marais has dedicated the past few years of his life to finding his own purpose as well as that of his brand and communications company, Joe Public United. Using the Thinking Circles methodology, and 17-step process which helps to unlock subconscious thoughts and thinking, his Purpose Workshops aim to encourage other business leaders to find their purpose in just one word.
If you are looking to find clarity amongst key stakeholders and/or executives as to exactly what the business stands for, it may be time you invested in your brand’s future.
